These guys did an awesome job on our new deck! Highly recommend! They’ve also done other flooring for our church and did a great job there as well. My favorite thing about them is they go the extra mile to make sure the clients are happy with the project. If you want quality work, at a reasonable price, with a company you can trust- this is it.Posted on Google![]()

Chase and crew replaced the flooring in my whole house with LVP. Had a couple places that needed repair which he did flawlessly. He kept in contact and texted any repairs that needed extra work. He moved all furniture and put back in place. Very good jobPosted on Google![]()

Had several things that needed fixing at our cabin in rural Virginia and had been struggling to find someone that would do it. Contacted owner Chase Draper who promptly came out, gave me an estimate and then professionally handled everything we asked him to do. He could not do part of the job, so he contacted me as I was out of town, got another contractor out who could do the work to give me an estimate and reduced the original estimate to match the work done. I recommend Chase highly and will use him again whenever the need arises.Posted on Google![]()

Cracked tile and peeling caulk are obvious. But a floor that feels soft near the toilet, a leak you can’t trace, or mold that shows back up two weeks after you cleaned it — those are different problems. Those don’t get fixed with caulk and a prayer.
Homes near Jefferson Avenue are a good example. A lot of them still have original plumbing and tile from the 50s and 60s. The grout never looks clean no matter what you use. The drain runs slow. Tile shifts a little when you step on it. If you’ve gone back and patched the same area more than once, the real problem is underneath what you can see.
Signs it’s probably time to stop patching:
Patching buys a little time. It doesn’t fix the cause. And usually the longer you wait, the more the repair costs when you finally do address it.
The jobs that go smoothly are the ones where the homeowner came in ready to talk. You don’t need to have every answer — but having a general idea of what you want, what you can spend, and when you need it done makes a big difference in how fast things move.
Pulaski County requires permits for plumbing and structural work. Your contractor takes care of filing — you shouldn’t have to chase that down yourself. But it does need to happen, and any contractor who suggests skipping it isn’t doing you any favors.
Before your first visit, it helps to think through a few things:
The clearer you are on those things going in, the faster you get from the first conversation to a start date.
People are sometimes surprised by how long a bathroom remodel takes. It’s a small room, so how hard can it be? The answer is that small rooms are actually harder to work in, not easier. Less space means slower cuts, tighter fits, and no room for mistakes.
Tile work and plumbing rough-ins take the longest, consistently. Older homes near Calfee Park are a good example of this. The bungalow-style bathrooms in that part of Pulaski are tight. Every measurement matters, and the margin for error is basically zero.
The parts of the job where the clock really moves:
A home remodeler who builds the schedule around actual time requirements — not the fastest possible finish — is the one who delivers a bathroom that doesn’t need to be redone in three years.
One to three weeks covers most full remodels — though that range depends a lot on the scope and whether materials are in stock when the job starts. A straight swap with no layout changes moves faster. Add a layout change or custom tile work and you’re probably toward the longer end. We give you a timeline before anything is scheduled so you know what to expect going in.
For plumbing and structural changes, yes. Pulaski County requires it, and it’s not something to skip. We pull the permit on your behalf — it’s part of the job. The main reason people regret skipping permits is that it almost always becomes a problem at resale.
That depends on what we find when we look at it. Tubs, vanities, and flooring can stay if they’re genuinely in good shape — but we make that call on-site, not over the phone. We’re not going to tell you to replace something that doesn’t need replacing.
Yes, and this comes up more often than people expect. When demo starts, we sometimes find moisture damage that wasn’t visible from the surface. We repair it before new materials go in. Catching it at that stage is far cheaper than finding it after tile is already set.
We help with this during the planning process. There’s a big difference between what looks right in a showroom and what actually fits a smaller bathroom in a 1960s home. We work through the options with you based on your specific floor plan, your home’s style, and what you actually want to live with.
We come out to your home, take a look at the space, and give you a straight answer about what the job involves and what it’ll cost. No obligation on that first visit — just a real conversation about what you’re working with and an expert opinion on how to get it done.
